		<description>I have had LENGTHY email conversations with this company as I ordered their much touted paleo cookies on May 25th. I have NOT received a SINGLE thing but aggravation.

I have however been told that the REASON my shipment of COOKIES has been delayed is because there was a “shortage of grass fed beef” due to high demand.

I have demanded an explanation with EVERY communication as to how in the WORLD a BEEF shortage would affect a COOKIE ONLY order. As you can likely guess ... they have ignored the question completely (because seriously, what *could* they say?) and just kept saying how sorry they were and how they were overwhelmed (seriously I doubt it - no company is this incompetent at this level for this long - over 3 months at this point people - unless it is intentional) and how my order would be increased by 20% (ooo 20% of nothing - how generous!) and that they&#039;d send it out right away (until I started demanding a shipment confirmation number and a tracking number to document that something had ACTUALLY been mailed and then geee - now they don&#039;t return my emails and they don&#039;t answer my calls).

I have called and spoken to the man multiple times – to have him SWEAR that he will PERSONALLY go in and pack my order and ship it himself the next day.

Multiple times. Sooo if he has shipped it himself the first, second, third or forth times … why would he need to tell me the same thing the fifth time?

Today I just had it and decided to see if anyone else out there had the same experiences and gee ... look at what I am finding to read! So here I am, happy to share MY experiences. I *wanted* to be able to share a HAPPY and SATISFIED experience, but gee that would mean I would actually have to get what I ordered and apparently dickstevensnuts.com has trouble providing the products that their customers order.

I’ve actually been keeping a blog about it that I was holding off on making public as I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I can see after reading this and I am sure more to follow, that this company IS a scam and my gut, once again, was dead on the money.

I agree – if you think this is a legit company then put your money where your mouth is and send them some and see if you get anything back. I’m starting to think NO one has received any order from them to be honest.

At least I know now that I’m not alone!


And ahhh exactly WHO is the competitor that ol&#039; Jeff here seems to like to pretend is slandering him? Cuz you know seriously, I don&#039;t need to hurt them - as they are hurting themselves more than I could ever do on my own. BUT what I 8can* do is put my money to a company that will actually honor my order and send out the product and promote the HELL out of them like I had planned to do for dickstevens if I liked their products. So who is the place I *should* be buying from? I&#039;ll be thrilled to happily shovel my money their way as long as I get what I ordered at *some* point.

And Jeff? I called your cell phone again and your company&#039;s still broken directory service (that I very helpfully pointed out to him 3 months ago, and have repeatedly reminded him was still broken as if it was MY business I&#039;d be horrified my phone system was that broken and would want it fixed right away!) and sent another email - interesting that all the emails for the other &quot;people&quot; of your company are now bouncing and saying they do not exist ... makes me think this is a one man scam show trying to pretend they are a much bigger company. Tsk.

So yes, this is me, Alyssa. And if you do not remember me, then that says it all right there - because the only way you&#039;d forget someone that has had as much communication as we have is if you have hundreds of people doing the same. exact. thing. Sooo maybe you will answer HERE what you have refused to even acknowledge with every communication we have had ... exactly WHY would a BEEF shortage affect a COOKIE *only* order? Huh? I am ALL ears and eyes. I am DYING to hear this. 

But I got 5 bucks on the table that you will never address that - cuz scam artists never address legit points, they misdirect and focus on something irrelevant.</description>

Someone made one posting on Facebook after one of your people starting, again, ripping us, for no reason except that we make a product that is less money and better quality.  I can assure you that I did not send these emails, what would be the purpose?  Steve, you have cried to every food company that even considers manufacturing anything Paleo. I happen to know that Paleo Brands and Robb Wolfe have received your complaining too.  Here is what I do promise you Steve.  Keep slandering us and you wil find yourself at the wrong end of a lengthy expensive legal battle.</description>
